This property is a fine example of how a small addition can make a world of difference. A simple, single storey rear extension was added in place of the existing utility area, to create a light, spacious family/sunroom. The design was classic and sympathetic to the existing property, with large windows providing spectacular views of a beautifully landscaped garden and the countryside beyond.
In addition to the extension, the existing kitchen was remodelled to allow for a new utility area with a side door to the rear and front gardens. In this instance, the owners have been able to greatly increase their living area on a relatively small budget and with minimum disruption to their property and their day-to-day lives.
The scheme design required Planning Consent and technical drawings complete with specifications for Building Regulation consent. In addition, the full tender procurement and construction processes were managed.
